Now for this challenge I made a layout that celebrated the love between my husband and I.
We have been together for almost 20 years...he still makes my heart skip and beat and my I still get butterflies in my tummy....
to start with I used the Wood Effect paper from ModaScrap from ECD.
I then stamped this really cool Circles Background stamp also from ECD I added some texture paste through a brick stencil, then started misting. I love to mix colors, I used blues, and teals, and greens and pink to get the effect I wanted!
The flowers are all handmade using the Small flower die and the large flower die and the trio set of leaves
For the title I first cut the Love Struck heart out of the wood effect paper and inked the edges to get some definition. I then cut the title using the True Love Die out of pink cardstock from the vintage pack
I added more layers by starting with burlap to add texture, then a torn piece from the wood effect paper, then some lace I sprayed (it was way too pink) and bunched up for more texture and dimension and adhered it using the ECD double sided tape
I die cut the Valentines edges out of the same pink paper and tucked them in
Thanks for stopping by
