Family layout with Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
I have been having so much fun altering chipboard!

So I started off by layering my Authentique papers, then set out altering the awesome Creative Embellishments Chipboard

I really enjoyed altering the Fancy Rectangle Frame!  I wanted it really dramatic so I started by painting it with Prima Art Alchemy acrylic paint in silver spoon. Then I sprayed it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang Black Orchid Silver mist, added some Tim Hotlz crackle medium and finally I added some silver seed beads.

For the Flourish 2, I inked and embossed in black, added a touch of gold paint, silver liquid pearls and some black crushed glitter glass.

For the Family word I inked and embossed in black and added some silver liquid pearls

Of course I added some flowers from my stash and some from previous Scraps Of Darkness kits!

Creative Embellishments Pool Party layout!

Good morning!
I am so excited to share my second layout I created using the awesome Creative Embellishments products...

This cute little guy is our youngest a long time ago (he is now 15)!

The photo is bright and fun and I wanted to keep the mood very cheery so I decided to use bright colors!

For the bubbles I first covered them in pearl paint, then added some Finnabair gold opal magic to each bubble.  As a final touch I adhered some Finnabair art pebbles to add more dimension!  I also added a few blue pearls!

The really cool bubble panel that I used as a mat for the photo I painted with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse - Lemon Sorbet from a previous Scraps Of Darkness kit

I used the title piece from the Pool Party pack and embossed it with Lindy's Twilight Blue Slate embossing powder.
I then used gel medium to add the Pop Microbeads also from a previous Scraps Of Darkness kit.

Lots of Layers Beach layout!

Good morning!
I am back today to share another layout I created using the Scraps Of Darkness  'Sea Side' kit

For this layout I decided to use the awesome Kaisercraft High Tide Collection from the main kit and also from the Coordinating paper add on.  I love to layer my papers and embellishments and the fabulous Kaisercraft papers were perfect for this.

I cut out one of the card titles which I think reflects our boys. I also fussy cut a couple of images - the ships wheel and anchor to use as accents.  I added a few stickers from the coordinating stickers sheet in the main kit

The blue fern chipboard I inked with
Prima Color Philosophy Summer Vibes Stackable Ink Pad from the color add on then added some blue crushed glitter glass from a previous kit.  You can also see the tiny starfish from the main kit (its so cute) and a few glass gems also from teh main kit

Those wonderful flowers are from the floral add on!

3D Beach layout!!!!

Good morning!
I LOVE the new 3D embellishments from 49 & Market ib this months Scraps Of Darkness 'Sea Side' kit.  They are so cool!

The wonderful and graphic 49 & Market Sand & Sea paper made a perfect background for this photo of Ty enjoying sitting in the surf!

With such a fabulous background paper I did not want to do much to the background.  I added some of the awesome 3D embellishments

The chipboard title I had in my stash.  I used the unicorn's hair paint from the color add on to paint the word 'Sand' then added some prills from a previous kit.
For the rest of the title I inked it with the Prima Color Philosophy Summer Vibes Stackable Ink Pad
also from the color add on then added the WOW! Whirlpool Embossing Powder from the main kit....it really sparkles.

The Blue Fern chain and anchor is from the elements add on.
I painted it with the unicorn hair paint, then used the Ken Oliver Color Burst Liquid Metals in Platinum from a previous kit. I then finally added some prills!

Multi Photo Beach layout!!!!

Hi everyone!
We love the beach and I tend to take a lot of photos while we are there!

Which is awesome because this months Scraps Of Darkness kit is PERFECT for all those beach photos!

When I use more than one photo I usually make them smaller than 4x6.  Here I decided to use two 3x4 photos.
I used the awesome  Kaisercraft Hight Tide papers and stickers from the main kit.

I wanted to create some drama on the layout so I used a lot of flowers from the main kit and floral add on.  I then added some butterflies from the elements add on and added a few shells from my stash!

My very first layout for Creative Embellishments!

I am so excited to be a member of this awesome team.  There are so many really talented and fabulous women on this team!
Besides me there is of course Nicolle - the owner and designer, Doris Widder our DT leader, Maggi, Sarah, Heather, Marci,
Bev, France, Nanne, Shona, Krystle, Romy,  and Marilyn!
Talk about an awesome team!

The very first project I created for Creative Embellishments is this one....

I used one of my favorite photos taken by Breaultography of my hubby and our boys last fall.
Since I used the Graphic 45 papers I wanted to keep the chipboard in the same tones

For the Stars in my Universe Frame I inked it black, then embossed it, then used black crushed glitter glass to add texture and shine.
The Cresent Moon I painted it with white pearl paint lightly then dry brushed a bit of orange paint to add some depth

I LOVE the saying.....its so true!
I wanted to add depth and texture so I layered the title over the moon stars.
For the Moon Stars I inked them with orange ink, embossed them with two different orange embossing powder then added orange glitter!  For the 'I Love You To The Moon' chipboard I inked in black then used the stampendous aged black embossing enamel.

Here are the Creative Embellishment products I used
