Wedding photos from long ago and the Blush kit!

Hey everyone!
When I received the Scraps of Darkness 'Blush' kit I knew I wanted to scrap our wedding.  I have very few photos and the ones I have are not great quality but it is the happiest day of my life.  I got to marry a great man who shows me great love!  He looked so handsome in his suit.....

When I saw this paper from Prima I knew I wanted to use it for the photo of Jon waiting for me!  It has this coppery distressed sheen to it!

I created a cluster with the flowers from main kit, floral add on, and previous kits.  I added some Prima chipboard elements add on, the
Prima Rossibelle Ephemera, and the chalk tags from the main kit

I did a bit of stenciling using a heart stencil from a previous kit and ink and molding paste then
I sprayed some cheesecloth with Lindy's moonshadow mist and added some sequins from the chipboard pack from the elements add on.  In a previous kit I received some blue fern chipboard pieces...I inked and embossed them, then added some Imagine Ink autumn glitter.

I also did a bit of random stamping using the Prima Rossibelle Clear Stamps!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sometimes simple is good!

Hi!
I love to create layouts with lots of layers, embellishments and techniques but sometimes I really believe simple is good.
Sometimes its the photos sometimes its the paper is really dramatic and sometimes I just really feel like creating a simple layout.

So thats what I did...

I just adore these papers from kaisercraft....I did not want to distract from the fun photo and fabulous papers!

I cut one of the title blocks from one of the papers...

I layered some stickers and was happy with the end result.

My next layout I used the Graphic 45 Enchanted Forest Collection which has some pretty busy patterns (that I love)

I just added some flowers

and a title!

I used a wonderful sketch from Stuck?!

Spending time at the Zoo with SOD and Graphic 45!

Hi!
Many years ago we were lucky enough to take the kids to the Detroit Zoo with my family.
When I received this months Scrap Of Darkness kit 'Safari' I knew that those photos were going to get scrapped!

This first one I used photos of my family at the elephant fountain!
The boys were having such a great time!

I LOVE the Graphic 45 Safari Adventure papers and I had a lot of fun layering all the different patterns!

Here you can see some of the layering and I used the stencil from elements add on and the Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distress Ink Mini from the color add on

In the main kit are Graphic 45 Safari Adventure Banners Die Cuts
that I mixed and matched and I used the Petaloo & kaisercraft flowers from the  main kit and floral add on

also in the main kit is this really cool Olive Jute Square Mesh
Love the texture it added!

My second layout I created with a photo of the boys outside the Aardvark habitat on a termite hill - not a real one lol!

I fussy cut some images out for this one.

I used the jute square mesh and the fabscraps chipboard title from the main kit.

I inked the 'at' with the Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distress Ink Mini from the color add on and the 'Wild' and 'heart' with the Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge Mini Distress Ink from the main kit.  I then added some Blue Fern Studios Imagine Ink Autumn Glitter from the elements add on and some crackle medium from my stash

I loved layering a bunch of the different Graphic 45 banners!!!
