Cards! Cards! Cards!

Good morning!
I love making Christmas cards....I don't always get to send them out but I love making them!
I used the Scraps Of Darkness 'Snow Angels' kit to make these fun cards!

It was fun!
I layered the wonderful Bo Bunny papers, and then cut a piece of vellum for the sentiment.
The flower and ribbon was from stash.

I used the wonderful snow pen that you puff up with a heat gun!

My neighbor will love this card!
I used the die cuts from the main kit and layered them.
I added some gems!

Hey everyone! I am back to share a really fun project I created for one of my end tables for my guest spot with Petaloo when I start to decorate this year!  I started off with just a little Brownie camera like this...

On the back I toed it closed with some lace and I added some texture paste then while it was still wet I added epson salts to look like snow and add some more sparkle!

on the inside of the camera I added a Christmas tree and two carolers and more 'snow'

Halloween.....

Hi!
So when I received the awesome Halloween kit from Scraps Of Darkness called 'Haunted' I was so very excited!

My first layout is of the boys when they were little carving their pumpkins!

 I love Cody's face - like Ewwwwwwwww

I used a mixture of papers from Bo Bunny, Authentique and Simple Stories

This cool title is from Bo Bunny!

I inked the chipboard with Staz on ink from a previous kit, used the Lindy's Stamp Gang Jack-O-Lantern Orange Embossing Powder and the Tim Holtz Peeled Paint & Walnut Stain Distress Crayons.

The next layout I used the Bo Bunny Wonderfully Wicked papers to scrapbook this spooky photo of Cody!

The papers fit the eerie photo perfectly

I created layers with papers, cheese cloth, and die cuts
I added these Solid Oak Inc. Steampunk Accents Dragon Eyes from the elements add on to the die cut skull

The wicked web is from Blue Fern in the  elements add on.  I embossed it then added a chipboard spider also from the elements add on

I added some grey seed beads to the Kaisercraft Black Paper Blooms to make them more spooky.

Scraps Of Darkness and Stuck?!

Good morning!
I was really excited to be asked to guest design for Stuck? sketches this month!
I got to work with a really cool sketch!

So this is my interpretation using the Scraps of Darkness 'Blush' Kit...

The smiling happy couple is my wonderful hubby and I!
The beautiful paper is from the Prima Rossibelle Collection....

I fussy cut a lot of flowers out the paper and layered them...

I added the pink tulle under the photo to add some depth and texture.
I also misted the doilies with Prima Wild Raspberry Color Bloom Spray from the color add on

I used one of the pieces of ephemera also

The heart and the love plaque were in the elements add on and I used one of the Prima stickers!

a bit of mixed media with the Blush kit

Hi everyone!
I wanted to create a more mixed media layout with the awesome Prima papers that were in the Blush kit and paper add on!

I had a lot of fun crating this playful layout of Ty!

I started by layering each one of my papers, trimming them, then distressing the edges

Lots of yummy layers!!!! I also added in some torn cardboard!

To create the background I painted the paper with clear gesso so my colors will stand out.

I then used some modeling paste and a stencil.  I applied the
Blue Fern Studios Antique Gold Embossing Powder from the color add on to the modeling paste and heat set it.
Also in the color add on is this awesome Prima Parisian Rosewood Memory Hardware Artisan Powder.  I mixed it with some water in a spray bottle and sprayed it on!
I also did some splattering!

I added some baubles from last months kit, some sequins from the elements add on, some prills from a previous kit and some shells from my stash that I covered in white gesso then sprinkled some more splashes.

I had this wonderful title from ScrapFX that I just splattered with colors!
