Summer fun has started!

It was a fabulous weekend! On Saturday we stayed home and tinkered around the house...nothing too exciting but a nice relaxing day! On Sunday we went out to my parents trailer at Wildwood campground. There was a nice small car show going and it was fun walking aorund looking at these awesome cars!

We then took the boys to the beach just down the road. Although it was cold you never would have guessed it! They didn't care, they wanted to go in the water!

I also got another layout done....I seemed to have lost my mojo so if you find it can you return to me please? lol!!!

This is my hubby Jon when he was younger with his sister.

Laura has chosen the ladies that will be joining and the Dreamer design team! I couldn't have picked better ladies! Congrats Kathi, Dawn, Katie & Meg!!!! Your work is amazing!

New month a Dreamer

A new month means new reveals, challenges and contest at Dreamer!!!

This month I got to work with some great papers from Fiskars! The paper is all double sided or flocked! SOOOOOOOOOO yummy!!!!

I created this double page about the love between father and son....so easy with great supplies!

Here is a close up of some of the detail

The quote reads
'Every now and then beautiful angels appear cleverly disguised as ordinary human beings....Dads'

journaling reads;
There are some bonds that are unbreakable....like the bond between our boys and their dad. Cody & Tyler miss their dad a lot while he is the road all week and look forward to the weekend when their dad is home. Tyler is out in the shop with him, mirroring everything he does. And Cody can’t wait for dad to take him fishing! Jons loves his boys so much, they are his world, his heart, his reason for being

Materials used;

***Fiskars patterned paper ***(available at SBD)
***Tonic edge distresser ***(available at SBD)
brilliance ink pad
prima flowers
crafts gems
