We have created so many Christmas memories this year that I will make a couple of posts. I don't want to overload the server with all the photos!
I love Christmas morning! I have three boys that get excited about their gifts if you include my hubby! LOL!!! I love to watch how excited the boys get when they open their gifts and want to play with each one before moving on to the next one! They love to open!
This is the first year with our new dog so even she got into the action!
Here is Ty with his hot wheels Christmas!!! (even his jammies are hot wheels!)
And Cody opening a few gifts
but he was super excited when he saw the PS2!
My hubby has wanted a Smokey & The Bandit (one of his favorite movies) die cast car for al ong time! I finally found one in California and bought it! It made him VERY happy!
And my hubby made me very happy! He got me a cricut!!!
I hope your Christmas morning was unforgettable!

Christmas Memories
Everyone has their own definition of what Christmas is...Jesus birthday, family, presents, Santa and so on. To me it is a time of giving. I thought I might share a story from my childhood....I think this is when I learned the real meaning of Christmas.
I was about 5 or 6 and my dad who was a Knight of Columbus received a phone call about a family in tremendous need of help this very cold season. SO my dad and his fellow Knight Bobby went out to these peoples home. They were huddled around their stove trying to keep warm because they had no heat and the windows upstairs were broken. Their pipes were froze so they were melting snow to have something to drink and they were hungry, there was no food in the house. When my dad took the mom to the grocery store to buy some food he told her to get whatever she needed. She came back with a loaf of bread, mustard and bologna. He told her that that would never do and proceeded to fill a shopping cart brimming with food. After they took her home they continued on to the welfare office where my dad, in his own words, ripped them apart and demanded that something be done to help this poor family. They lady from the welfare office cut them a check, drove out there and moved them into a motel. Then the next day moved them into a new home! I remember my dad coming home, with tears in his eyes and hugging us all and saying how thankful he was for us and to have what he has. thats when I learned that Christmas is about more than presents and family its about helping, healing and being there whenever someone needs you. Now my mom wasn't a Knight etc but whenever my dad needed anything to help out a family she was always there to help. Making phone calls, coming up with some money, shopping for presents for needy children, grocery shopping, whenever dad needed anything she was first in line to help. When there was a food drive, coats for kids, or any fund raiser that we could take part in my mom always made sure we each gave something, hoping to instill in us the values that she and my dad have, So thanks Dad & Mom for teaching us about the true meaning of Christmas. I love you both.

Pie Day!!!!
Every year my mom & I get together and bake apple pies for the Holiday season...we fill our freezers with yummy pies that are so handy! Its great when you get surprise visitors or a friend over for coffee...you can just pull out an apple pie and pop it in the oven for a while and before you know the smell is wafting through your home! I really look forward to this day! Its fun just to get messy and silly and laugh! We had a couple of helpers this year! My dad got in on the act and my cousin Patsy who just moved here from Fort Mac in Alberta!
This year Patsy and my dad peeled and sliced the apples (thanks to the strafrit apple peeler - LOVE this gadget)
while I rolled dough and my mom filled the pies!
We had quite the assembly line! We ended up making 16 pies and 17 apple dumplings and froze them all but 2 dumplings that I had promised to my boys for dessert that night! They loved them!!!!

Christmas cards..
I really got into making some cards this year! It was a lot of fun. I made each one different but to tell you the truth I lost count with how many I have made! I made a card for each family member (both sides), our friends, Jons buddies at work and his boss and my fellow DT members at Dreamer.
and here are a few of my favorites....
