Sharing some layouts!

The boys are all done school and summer vacation has started!!! Its nice to be able to sleep in the morning!!!

I thought today I would share some layouts I have done recently.

This is of Ty's Kindergarten graduation celebration! I included this is his teachers year end
album

and this is the final page of the album...under the photo is hidden journaling that reads;

Thank you so much for teaching our boys over the last two years. You have been a huge influence on them. You have taught them, helped them, inspired them and been their friend as well as their teacher. You have had to be strict but you have always put their needs first. You made learning fun and interesting. You have been patient and caring when the boys struggled to tell you something but their speech issues made it hard. You helped make Jon and I more comfortable with someone else caring for our children with their allergies. You always tried to make the school as safe a place for them as possible. You made learning fun and interesting. Thank you for all that you do.

And this is the first page of the album

Here is another layout I recently did for a challenge over at Kitty's Kloset. We had to do at least part of the journaling from the point of view of the person/thing in the photo in the photo and I did it from the POV of my camera.

Speaking of Kitty's Kloset make sure you stop by starting July 9th for some awesome daily challenges and prizes and raks.

Catch of the day!!!!

On Saturday I had my scrapping buddies over for the day...my sister Debbie, my cousin Amy and my best buddies Dawn & Ally! We had a great time crating and enjoying each others company and the day just flew by! We had this planned for a while so my hubby had lots of time to plan ahead a day for him and the boys to enjoy. My brother in law and nephew, my hubby and our two boys went out fishing for the day!!! they had so much fun it was ridiculous. Our six year old Cody put them to shame! He caught a 4 pound bass, and small pike, when they went out in the morning. Then they decided to go back out in the evening and he caught a 2 pound walleye!

Here he is all in his glory

Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Ty's graduation....

wow my baby is growing up!!! It doesn't really seem fair!!!

He was so dang cute today...actually the whole class was. They sang these really cute songs

and did this hilarious rap...

'Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
uhhhhhhh ain't that funky now!'

with these rapper actions! Too cute!!!

Here he is being adorable

Here is Ty receiving his diploma and award for being enthusiastic

And here is is after the whole thing is done with his teacher Miss I

Hope you all have a fabulous evening!

Fathers Day celebration!!!

It was a great fathers day!!!!! We had celebrated last weekend with my family for fathers day so we got to stay home in the morning and relax.

My hubby was spoiled rotten this year for fathers day...I think the things that meant most was the items that the boys made him... Cody made him a self portrait and a cute card and Ty made him a pine cone thingy to hang in his truck and a cute poem with his footprint on it. I love the last photos of Ty hugging his daddy!

After our fathers day morning we went over to my sister in laws for a swim and fathers day with my father in law. The boys had a great time as you can see

Family Fun & Upcoming cyber crop!

Yesterday my mom had surgery. She's been having problems with her bladder & bowels and the doctors decided that surgery was warranted. She is recovering well and is really tired though. I hope to go see her on the weekend once she is home.

Since she was scheduled for surgery we had her birthday and fathers day last weekend. My brother Rob & his wife Brenda held the party and had a blow up water slide for the kids. Our boys enjoyed it so much. They had a heck of a good time on it. Thanks Rob & Brenda! I got a few really good shots and so did my niece, Alicia. I let her use my camera and she got a couple really good photos.

This is my family. MY parents, my brothers, sister and their families!

This is Ty enjoying the slide!

And Cody having a huge amount of fun!

My parents have been married for 44 years and they still hug & kiss! It used to embarrass me as a kid but now it is comforting to know that they are still that much in love.

I love this shot of Ty...there are a bit of shadows on his face but it shows how really adorable he is! Great shot Alicia!

Cody is such a cool dude!

Make sure you check out the upcoming party at scrapgarden!

Slip Sliding Away

Oh I love summer and it is almost here...it has been so warm here recently that we bought the boys a new Spiderman slip & slide! They couldn't wait to try it out so on Sunday we set it up. In between rain drops the boys (and I mean all three of them....my hubby included) ran and slid down it! I took pictures!!! I'm not crazy enough to slide and kill my gut but man the boys had a good time!!! Can you tell the water was a little cold?

here is Cody;

here is Ty...he really didn't like the cold water but didn't want his daddy & Cody to have all the fun!

And my hubby of course...I couldn't forget him!!!

Hot & Humid & Sprinkler fun!

It was really hot and sticky here today! My hubby has decided that we are done with our old energy sucking air conditioner! Tomorrow he is taking me shopping for a new one! But today it is hot. I thought the kids could use some cooling down so I let them play in the sprinkler! Here are some of the shots I took today!

Hope you all stay cool!
